Typical Westbound SVRy Freight

This is a photo taken in 1939 by Hank Griffiths of a Westbound SVRy freight. It is 34 cars, and as Jim Grigsby pointed out in another thread, typical is mostly empty flats! What is ironic today is that SVRy had more flat cars than anything else with something over 400 on the roster at one time, and probably none exist today. The photo is from the Pac.NW Chap.of NRHS collection.
