C&T 40th

I was thinking about the Cumbres and Toltec celebrating its 40th birthday in 2010 and how every body wants them to be more like the D&RGW. I think the railroad is its own railroad and should have pride in its own name. They have lasted almost 40 years. People are compaining that the tenders should be labeled Rio Grande not Cumbres and Toltec and are mad at the C&T for not. If the Cumbres and Toltec never existed, think what would have happen to all of the rolling stock. Scrapped, left to deminish,or worse. We need to stop looking at there faults and start looking at what they have preserved. So what if theres a wye at Osier and a dining hall, the snow shed it not complete, the water tank is labeled C&T. Think about all the great things they have done to preserve the D&RGW and the steam era.
