Taylor and SVRR.
It was a great time with Jerry, Scott, Casey & #19. If the opportunity ever arises in the future, I'd like to do it again on #3 next time. First time over the line, but with Scott's coaching, I guess I did an acceptible job as engineer, at least he never had to take the throttle or brake control. First visit to that part of Oregon, where our Oregon Lumber Shay 7 spent time as a working engine. I've downloaded 126 digital pictures to my PC, a few shot during EFD, and the rest on the first revenue run on Saturday. As soon as I get them sorted out, I'll print some copies to mail to the RR PO box address. Casey is supposed to e-mail me some text from interviews with SVRR/OLCO logging engineers. Always interested in hearing from those who ran engines for a living.
