Even though I was part of the process, it is hard to pinpoint who exactly said lets do the parlor car thing. Excuse me, parlour car. It is probably reasonable to say that the concept of offering first class service was pretty much a no-brainer, and everyone on the RGRPC board readily agreed we should do it. At the same time clearly John Craft and Marvin Casias deserve the credit for turning an idea into reality. This kind of thing doesn't happen withough a lot of effort, and both of them have worked hard to make it happen. Hopefully it will contribute additional dollars to preserving the railroad.
