In "Rio Grande Narrow Gauge," Norwood and Heimburger reproduce a list of ice houses (presumably from the 1923 Receiver's Report) on page 283.
It shows Alamosa as having a facility capable of storing 2,000 tons of ice, with an icing platform 176 ft. long.
Nothing is listed for Chama.
Durango is credited with a 1,000-ton facility, 80 ft. long icing platform.
Other narrow-gauge facilities include Cimarron (100 tons), Gunnison (100), Montrose (400) Sargent (20 tons), and Santa Fe (70). None had icing platforms. Presumably the pre-1919 Chama facility Frank mentions was of this smaller variety.
