(With apologies to Willard Scott) Here's a happy 100th birthday to 1744's former YOUNGER companion, an engine # not seen on the rails for over 80 years.......OSL#1068! She was unveiled today following her retro-transformation celebrating her 100th year. She will be running all this weekend along with visiting "Thomas", and semi-regularly the rest of the year The real birthday party will be celebrated July 7th. With judicious scheduling, her boiler time will expire in about a year, then she will be restored to her usual 1940's appearance.
