In the Nov/Dec Gazette Joe Crea had an article on the car. He talked to one of the men who modified the car. It was not owned by the C&S but was owned by Gene Dungan. He and John Riedesel modified the car in the Stone Garage where John worked. They did not have permission to run on the track but figured since it was abandoned the worst that could happen is the railroad would just say don't do it again.
