I can answer that since I have worked on almost all of them. They are Ford 300 cid inline 6 cyl engines. The same engine you could get in your Ford pickup until a few years ago. They have LOTS of torque! Just what you need when you are dragging a fire trailer with 300 gal of water in it's tank. Speeders 101 & 102 are the primary fire patrol cars and they were built by Soni Honniger (hope I spelled his name right), and are twins. Number 103, (Carlos called it by it's old number 112), is a Fairmont A6 and has the same drivetrain. Hope this isn't too much information.
