On December 16, 1960, the Interstate Commerce Commission authorized direct control of Sumper Valley Ry's 2 miles of duel gauge switching railroad at Baker, OR, by Edward Hines Lumber Co.
Edward Hines Lbr. Co. formerly controlled the SV Ry through its subsidiary Oregon Lumber Co..
The ICC also waived jurisdiction in a proposed dissolution and merge of Oregon Lumber Co. assets into Edward Hines. Oregon Lumber Co. has a 3' Shay #7 at Baker. Data per Willian S. Young
