Thanks a million for the work done by Jeff on the new website! In addition if anyone would like a color flyer or two put up in your neighborhood just send your mailing address to Lon Wall PO Box 339 Dundee, OR 97115. Great places would be antique shops, hobby shops, logging supply stores, equipment dealers etc.
You'll notice that we have expended considerable effort in improving the lighting situation for the contest area. There's nothing worse than building a great model and not being able to see the quality (for my models I prefer darkness). This event takes your models seriously.
This will be our third year for this event and I'm quite happy with how it has evolved. To those of you who made the first two, we thank you for your support. Put Sat March 17th on your travel plans - Come out and meet some of the biggest names in this hobby, look over some of the best logging models and hear some first rate clinics. Merv Johnson, Frank Telweski, Scott Barrett, and Taylor Rush, are the featured entertainment so you know it's going to be first rate!
The obvious narrow gauge content here is Taylor Rush from the Sumpter Valley people. He's going to grace us with an all new never before seen clinic on Sumpter Valley - Oregon's premier wood products narrow guage line!
See you there! Lon Wall
