The interchange at Mack was (except for twenty or thrity feet) all seperated between standard and narrowguage rail. As far as I understand the D&RG did all of their own switching. One tall tale from an old timer did however say that the Uintah ran a third rail for a time in the teen's all the way down to near Fruita, Colorado for the Suger Beet production. I find this hard to believe and no other supporting evidence to this has ever been provided. Is their ANY presidence that any of you have heard of the D&RG letting another road run on their rails in narrow guage?
