There is no radical difference between the frame of 1881 & 1921 or 2001. Replacement frames were drawn up for the BLW and Grants in 1908 & 09 and they were quite similar because they had to maintain, form,fit & function. Grants that had especially bad frames received the BLW style because that version was available first (223 is a perfect example). Johnny just recently realized that that some of them had non-lifting injectors and called seeking info on them last fall.
As an aside, Mr. Joel Berling did considerable die work for Overland/PBL and much of San Juan's offerings. He also did a great deal of pattern building for Dave Bush. Bush has the Kemtron line but of all those C-16 parts you will probably never see the photoengraved ones again again. Besides, the Backshop has superior C-16 parts if your inclined to brass castings.
