I shot my previous question off before I went
to the basement files. After someone else
mentioned Best's RAILROADS OF HAWAII, I went for
mine and found some info that I got from the late
Ray Hilner. He had some typewritten info that
states the 60,70,80 &90 had 27,500#T.E. Also the
32,34,35,36 were listed at 19,400#T.E.
The info also mentions that the 4 big 2-8-0s
were sold to the Ferrocarril de San Salvador in
1950. Does anyone know if they still exist or
have they gone the way of SV/URy mallets?
