No mention is ever made in any article or book on the Sumpter Valley requarding its freight business. Lumber was the primary traffic on the line specificly cut lumber. Assuming that is done as long as there is no snow on the ground to stop shipments. Was there much movement of gold or other minerals. What was the time of year for the stock rush. I know there was some movement of gasoline from old pictures of several tankers on the line. Are there any records on LCL shipments and what was their makeup. Any insight would be appreciated.
