I was in Chama last Fri. and Sat nights ,rode the train and had a great time....the 1 thing that was a little scary was the TOTAL lack of tourists on the streets and in the stores...when I brought this up to a store owner that it was kinda slow with the 20% increase in ridership and all....he bit my head clean off and ranted for a good 10 min while the boys and I tried to shop I guess the trickle down effect still doesn't work???
