John Robinson measured one of these flat cars in June 1974 and the drawing of it appeared in the January 1975 "Finelines". This was the last "Finelines before the "Narrow Gauge Gazette" was published. The car's dimensions were 6'-3" by 18'-9" on 24" wheels spaced at 9'-6". Other than saying the car was from the WP&Y there wasn't any other information given so it sure is good to see the photos and learn more of their history. The car in Skagway in the color photo has obviously been crushed in a collision.

I used the wooden portion of the car drawing as the basis for a 6' by 16' flat that I am building. Mine has an 8' wheelbase due to sharper curves.
