With the recent discussion on the UV&P I though it might be appropriate to post a couple of shots of the former grade. The shot below is the end of line on the Chino Valley (west) side of the line. This location was known as Jerome Junction back when the railroad was active. The grade shown in this shot would be the AT&SF. The narrow gauge tracks would have been to the right of this std guage roadbed. According to the maps there were two narrow tracks parallel to the Santa Fe. Note the standard gauge fence posts. The narrow gauge had a wye just east of this location. This view is looking towards the north from road 354. According to the Russell Wahmann book traces of an oil reciving pit can still be found here. I haven't investigated that closely.
