There was some comment here recently about the many lived engine in the Nevada State RR Museum. The Unitah #12 ex F&CC was at the Golden Spike Hotel/Casino for many years. There were 3 cars also each with interesting histories. The most interesting to me is now a combine with a crude baggage door added. The car was built by Brillmeyer and Small of York, PA and traveled all the way out West for its operational life. The cars now sit on N-C-O freight trucks that must be rare themselves.
Now a model question. I have a set of the Bachmann O scale narrow gauge cars (On30) which appear to be Jackson and Sharp products. Has anyone seen anything about what they used as a prototype? As usual with model companies they are painted for too many railroads. The Baltimore and Ohio never ran narrow gauge as far as I know. And the PRR had only a couple of small branch lines. But the cars are nice with a lot of detail. TM
