RGS #74 in Boulder, CO

For those interested in the status of the former RGS locomotive 74 (C&NR #30) on display in Boulder, CO the Boulder County Railway Historical Society will host a silent auction Saturday 12/16/00 to help raise money for the purpose of restoring the locomotive to operating condition.
The ultimate goal of The Society is to raise $100,000 to qualify for a $300,000 State of Colorado grant earmarked for that purpose. There is a short article about the auction in the Wednesday, December 13 Local News section of the Boulder Daily Camera.
The auction will be held at the temporary ice rink off 13th St. in Boulder from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
