At about 12 noon today, #15 was backed out of the roundhouse under her own power for the first time in four years. Local journalists and a couple railfans recorded the event.
After some testing, the 1914 BLW 2-8-2 was taken on a short test run up the main to McMullen's Summit and return.
Some minor bugs were found and they will be worked out quickly.
A new coat of paint is to be applied on Friday and she will make her deput and first revenue run for the Fall Spectacular on October 8 & 9.
