Handlan-Buck assets

Has anyone out there heard anything about who or what company purchased the assets of the Handlan-Buck Company of St. Louis Mo.? I was told by a former employee "Joe Biffa" that he thought a Dr. from one of the Northeastern states purchased the company, but that is the last bit on info anyone has heard.
I inquired to Adlake (Admams & Westlake) and they said they do not have any Handlan-Buck assets, so that stops that rumor cold.
Any leads will be appreciated and followed up on. Regards!
