I-70 Corridor and The Loop

I've just returned from a long absence to find an interesting AP story which ran in our local rag on June 30: "Colorado Towns Want Monorail, Not Wider I-70." It relates to the area in which the Loop operates.
My search for any mention of this article on this board during my absence turns up nothing, so I'm wondering if I should post it just for the commentary concerning the future of the Loop. It's certainly not a new area of discussion on this board, but possibly one for sane and insane conjecture. At 532 words, though, it would take much space, which I'd rather not do unless some out there might like to read it. (I know of no web site currently offering it.)
