Diesel 19

I'm glad to see on the Shops web site that Diesel 19 is getting the attention it needs. It is an important cog in the system for the C & TS.
Now I'm wondering how, with all the regular maintenance the track crew has to do, the tracks into the CRF are coming along. From a Bill Kepner post it sounds like, when they can get Caboose 0579 off the RIP track, it might be moved and stationed in Chama. I realize that Chama is the hub of the railroad but I would still like to see 0579 based in Antonito. Does the "Friends" have any say since it was their work that completed it, where it goes?
