Hoss....those kinds of videos would go real good with the outside colors too, eh!!! <img class=" />
I think you need to make up an ad for Richter...he was the one who suggested the ads not me!!!
I can see it now...some customer complains to me that he didn't get a good shot cause of my stinking ad on the first coach of the train. My reply "Hey, bud you should have gotten them when they were green...ya snooze you lose"
Roger...they should gut the part below the windows and have a three-way panel that rotates the ads, like you see at the NBA games on tv under the scorers tables. Every so many minutes they change ads. The coaches could do that too.
We could have a Greg Scholl Ad followed by two ads for competitor companies, right! I can see it now "AD WARS ON THE C&TS".
Hogan would probably buy the ads for all the cars for the whole year so he had a monopoly for the whole Chama valley though! I know what he's thinkin!!!! <img class=" />
Thats okay...my new hotspot destination is going to be Georgetown loop when they get those authentic engines running, and those coaches to match next year!!! We can sepia tone the video and it will look like 1930, or whenever it was they ran in the old days!!! Or I can simply start shooting model videos, where I can control everything including the paint jobs, eh!!! <img class=" />
Richter had a good point. The last couple of times I rode the train I spent most of my time in the rider gone or caboose(charter). Only problem today is my feet and legs may not last all day like when I was younger. They usually ache all night after riding the C&TS all day, but the trip is more enjoyable in the open. Maybe they should run an open gondola train or half and half. If color and authenticity don't matter, why not. Do like Verde Canyon...Alternate open car and coach so you have a choice. My worse train ride experience lately was riding a steam train photo charter and never hearing the engine all day until we got out of the enclosed coaches to do the runbys. Too sterile for the experience!
