Historic Moment in Narrow gauge

I was one of the few allowed an historic ride from Silverplume to Georgetown and a return trip on the #21, a 44 ton GE Locomotive. Built sometime in the mid to late 1940's and restoration just completed with new Cummings engines, rebuilt generators and traction motors. Plowing snow on a good portion of the line this little locomotive demonstrated fine stature on the return.
My thanks to Ron, Dan and Bob for allowing me this unique experience.
Paper work on the #12 boiler is in the works and it seems that this little "snafoo" will turn out to be a time saver in the long run. The inspector, as it turns out, has delt with Mamoth Locomotive Works for many years so the required paper work will move right along as well as required inspections.
