Thanx for the info on the passenger car couplers, but I still have a few more questions for you or the list. How did the pin work? If the pins moved sideways thru the center of bottom of the couplers, how did it stay locked? Could you recommend a reference with good photos of the couplers and car ends? My previous visits to Colorado to ride trains were "rookie" trips, so I wasn't paying much attention to these little details. You also mention that Janneys "are on a number of older passenger cars in Durango and a few MOW cars in Chama." What type of coupler did the DRGW use after removing the Janney's, or did it leave them on all the passenger cars?
