Hi James,
Most outfit/bunk cars either had a two tone buff yellow and white colors or the sea foam green color.
For the paints to use:
Poly Scale D&RGW building cream is very close for the buff color and white interiors, ie kitchen car 04255 at Golden is like this, and I've been told that the 010145 has this interior color as well. The ceiling and upper portion of the walls was the buff color and the lower 3' of the walls was white.
PBL Star paint makes the sea foam green color and it's right on.
I've even seen a darker yellow color similar to reefer yellow (PBL Star paint D&RGW Reefer Yellow) on the inside of some cars as well.
It's possible that some outfit cars didn't have the interiors painted as well. My guess would be if the cars were mainly used for storage of tools/parts and not bunk cars.
Hope this gives you some help.
Jeff
