Radio Interview

There was an interview this morning on Chama KFLH radio with John Craft & Kim Flowers. Mr. Craft explained he was in town for the RGRPC board meetings, said that this season would be with-in a couple of hundred riders of their projected number of 50,000. The winter shop program will include work on the passenger cars, on two 1st class cars & of course the engines. They will be going back to the states for more money and expect it will be easier this time. They also now have firmed up the schedule for the train. The 2001 season will start on Sat the 26th of May. Trains daily thru Oct 15th this year then trains on October 17, 19 & 21 - 2000 season. They also thanked the community for being so supportive of their efforts. The Hospitality program was explained and they asked all the Chama merchants to join.
