The Hawaii Consolidated Railway was destroyed by a huge tidal wave or tsuami which struck Hilo, Hawaii on April 1, 1946. The railway never re-built and was abandonned following this tidal wave. Does anyone know of any books or publications which give details about this event? Thanks in advance for any help.
