Casino in Pagosa Springs?

I thought this would be a good time to post a new question about something other than the Georgetown Loop. (I guess I'll duck now as the shots are fired!) Anyhow, can anyone substantiate the rumor that there may be a casino built near Pagosa Springs or Pagosa Jct. and that the San Juan Extension would be reconstructed from Durango to allow visitors to arrive by rail?
It sounds grandiose but if there's any truth to it, I figure someone on this board might know.
