K-28s, basic questions

The other evening, a friend of mine was asking me about K-28s, specifically those that went to the White Pass. I soon realized I knew less about this topic than I was willing to admit. I assured him that I would dig though my vast resources, and could provide with all of the answers soon.
Help!
How many Sports went to the White Pass?
What numbers?
What year?
How long did they survive there?
Were they modified in any way once in Skagway? (Obvious physical appearance)
If so, what would one have to do to correctly model one in HOn3?
Once again, thanks in advance for making me look like I know what I’m talking about!
