I've thought about it a lot. In fact, I would like nothing better than to paint the whole locomotive black, or a very dark green. I'd even like to change it back to 152, her original number. ButI cannot do whatever I please. As it was I got in trouble for painting the wheels and pilot black. We did stain the cab much darker at that time. Ostensibly the village is supposed to represent the 1880s-1900 time period. We do a much better job representing a 1910 - 1920 railroad.
