Jerry is familiar with the Friends experience painting equipment. Some time ago I asked him for some advice about painting wooden cars on the Nevada Northern. He sent me a pretty comprehensive set of do's and don'ts. Virtually all of which is pretty consistent with what's suggested here, but with some additional details.
