The wheel/tie car was painted last summer, it was sptayed with linseed oil with a Hudson sprayer. The wood was a mix of old and new, then painted gray. We will see how it works, bet it wont be peeling after a year or two as oyher projects have. Bill is right on! I resided a caboose, I splashed linseed and turp on old wood, used Sherwin-Williams B66W1 primer and A85R530 international orange. Both are water base and are holding up nicely. No fading as yet, going on five years.
