19 lives

My apologies for failing to update the "19 club", although I did mention it in an earlier post. The 19 appears to be doing okay. The traction motors were sent back for some warranty work, and when reinstalled appear to work fine. So far as I am aware the 19 has been up to Lava running light, and hauled two cars downhill. Not much of a test, but progress. Later this week Marvin will take one load of rail up the hill, and then try two, etc. to see how 19 performs under progressively heavier loads. It's too early to declare victory, but so far so good. There is more work to done to fix the years of neglect and abuse, but if in the interim it can do some work, it will be a big help to the track program.
