Day 3 of the WW&F Museum Track Laying Day. One more day to go!
Crews spiked the remainder of the siding track, up to where the north switch will ultimately go. Ballasting started, from the north end down on the main line. 4 air-powered jitterbug tampers keep up with the ballast train.
History was made today with two separate trains adjacent, one on the siding and one on the main.
Incidentally, yesterday (Saturday) 71 people signed the volunteer log book.
If you have tomorrow off and live in the area, and are looking for something to do, we still have ONE MORE DAY left. We can use your help.
