CHS says there will be steam in 2005...
We started to think they'd have steam alright, it just wouldn't be operating...
Then Kahului #12 came along and it could actually operate in Silver Plume...
This photo shows the farthest end (the beginning just behind it) of where you'll see #12 operate on the Georgetown Loop.
This IS a joke; the #12 is a beautiful little engine; unfortunately, it wasn't built for the Loop and its boiler sounds troublesome...
Just some humor to break up the sadness resulting in the loss of the GLR...
