Sorry, I meant to post this two days ago but lost the paper, anyway, today the Sumpter Valley Railway officially turned 110 years old, plus two days. On August 15,1890, the SVRy was chartered with David Eccles as its president; Joeseph A. West, superintendent;and a board of directors composed of Eccles, Nibley, John Stoddard, William Eccles, and F.M. Shurtliff. Just thought this was kinda interesting and worth bringing up.
