CHS and The Loop

Hello, I was one who attended the Loop Communications Committee meeting last evening in Georgetown. We had several employees of the Georgetown Loop RR, Inc. attending, along with CCC business people, a County Commisioner, some knowledgable railroad people from other locations and 3 reps of the CHS present. Public comment carried on for some time with many factual and intelligent presentations brought forth. When many important questions were asked of the CHS people, the only answers they could give us were: "We are still studying that.", "We'll have to look into that further.", "We have people working on that.", "Negotiations are still proceeding with Railstar and we'll know later.", etc. etc. etc.
When asked about the banners CHS has hung around the area that say, "THE TRAIN WILL OPERATE IN 2005", they couldn't say what train "THE TRAIN" refers to.
One of the most disgusting parts of the whole meeting was watching the CHS people chew on large bags of junk food and try to talk with it in their mouthes while everyone else in the room sat in a dignified and professional manner.
I wonder what the next meeting will offer to the community?
