Welsh Highland Opens Phase II

Narrow-gauge news from overseas: the Welsh Highland Railway completed Phase II of its rebuilding this week, opening the Dinas-Waunfawr segment (the first segment of the rebuilt line to follow the original WHR right of way).
Rebuilding of the 26-mile WHR 60 years after it was abandoned is one of the biggest world narrow-gauge preservation stories I know of; you can learn all about it in our Brief at Railway Preservation News today; see the link.
