The D&RG caboose truck is based on the older 20 ton truck. As far as we can tell, there are few "extra parts" for these on the C&TS property, or anywhere else for that matter ! The "spring column" we had cast are the same as regular 20 ton trucks so I didn't include that in the previous posting. I'm trying to get the various parts in one place so we can build this trucks this summer.
I'd assume if they wanted to convert the rider gons, they'd use the more common 25 ton trucks and design the leaf spring to fit. They'd still need the "spring plank channel".
