Does any one know much about goods that were shipped out of Sapinero. Several items that have caught my attention were lumber traffic, livestock and florspar. Videos and books document livestock (sheep)operations and appear fairly straight foward. However they do not mention who the shippers were,their locations and typical shipping schedule. It appears there was a small lumber operation here also. Who was the owner and was there much if any traffic. Refer to Dorman's book "Gunninson" on page 138. Lastly Florspar, a mineral was shipped out of Sapinero. I am quessing but I take it that was the reason why in videos and photos there are long strings of box cars behind one of the C-16's. Is this a fairly heavy mineral simialr in weight to some type of ore. Was this mineral shipped out in sacks. And who was the shipper, was this an item that was sent out year round and how long did this traffic last.
