Tweetsie opening April 30th *LINK*

Tweetsie RR in Boone, NC, will begin its 47th season on April 30th. Our engine #190 will be pulling the train. #190 is a White Pass/US Army 2-8-2. Normally Tweetsie runs #12 first but due to some very minor firebox work she will not operate until June 18th. Tweetsie operates in a theme park so there alot to do for families. The train ride features a 225ft wooden trestle and a 5-1/4% grade. Tweetsie also has one of the finest locomotive shops in the nation. We have rebuilt engines for Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens, Dollywood, US Forest Service, and Dry Gulch Junction. Also we recently bought out Crown Locomotive Works, and now provide all parts that is needed to repair and maintain all Crown locomotives. Check out our website www.tweetsie.com.
