Cumbres & Toltec Scenic dedicates passenger car to New Mexico governor
CHAMA, N.M. - The Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad (C&TS) will hold a special dedication honoring Gov. Bill Richardson on Monday, April 26 at 4 p.m. at the Chama Depot. The presentation will include a proclamation by Chama Mayor Archie Vigil, followed by a recognition presentation by N.M. Train Commissioner Steve Malnar. The event will then move to the rail yard for the car unveiling, where it will be christened by the governor. Chama is about 100 miles north of Santa Fe, N.M. and just below the state border with Colorado.
