Hi Tim,
The question regarding the drop-in distance refers to the length of the gauge tool. Not what the track might be. I was questioning the distance from the gage point on one end of the tool to the extreame length oto the other end of the tool, the point where it would not sit on a railhead. That is a design length which I would like to learn if it is different on various narrow gauge lines. Thank you for the prior attempt to help.
