Colorado State Militia.
Same thing happened at Cripple Creek at about the same time. At Cripple Creek the strikers were forced onto two trains, one of each gauge and then hauled to just short of the state line (end of Militia jurisdiction), de-trained and forced into Kansas or New Mexico at bayonet point. For the narrow gauge the unloading point was South of Antonito. Locals were not impressed and the Militia had to cancel a planned dinner stop at Alamosa upon their return. A mob had gathered and staying in town might have been bad for the militiamen's health. Or at least that's how I heard the story.

Uintah ran a troop train 9/15/1911 when the army closed Ft. Duchesne. Train had all three of the ex-pullmans, with 2 boxcars for spaceing on the curves Lots of pictures exist.
