My reference on that is the book "Rock Down, Coal Up". p. 64 shows the photo you've included as a "shortly after delivery" photo. p. 65 has a photo of 6 operating "about nine months before the mine shut down for good" with the car headlight, and p. 105 has a photo of 6 sitting in the engine house in 1957 with that car headlight.
