EN12 as far as I know will stay in Southern Nevada. The restoration will be done here. In fact, some of it has already taken place with the appliances. However,before the locomotive gets the major work done I think the museum staff will do a restoration report as is usually done.
Also, E&P coach is the prototype for my combine that I built. I took hundreds of dimensions off the original car, and that is what I built, including the hardware to original specifications and designs. The color of the car is based on what we researched was the original car color, and the original pin striping based on Billmeyer & Smalls builders photos of the sister car "Eureka " in the Smithsonian collection. Of course we had to guess at what the original colors of the striping was, but we did the best we could and what is pleasing to the eye consistent with the photographs and descriptions
