>>Likewise, the leasor is exploring options before possibly returning to negotiations with the current leassee
From a Denver Post article, March 18, 2004:
"On Wednesday, the historical society and the railroad announced they are parting ways, which may stall one of Clear Creek County's biggest economic engines.
Georgetown Loop Railroad co-owner Mark Greska said the historical society presented its last, best offer last week.
"I asked if it was negotiable, and they said absolutely not," Greska said. "We got up from the table and left. The state does not understand what it takes to keep history alive."

So the “non-negotiable, best offer” can be negotiated after all, or the fat lady might be giving an encore, huh?
Well, you may be right, Mr. Geek. I certainly hope so!
