Re: Fall colors in the San Juan Mountains

As of today no fall colors have appeared between Ouray and summit of Red Mountain Pass. The higher peaks are beautiful with new snow, but no yellow Aspens so far, they are still green with very little browning. Also the air is clear. No smoke. Haven't been to the Durango side of the mountains, but the north side should develop some good fall colors. So here is hoping.
